I find marks very useful and think they seem quite under utilised.
The biggest single factor I believe would help would be some UI to expose the position of marks in the signcolumn. A simple ‘a’ for mark ‘a’ for example.
I’m aware there are plugins to help with marks but they seem overkill when I just want a visual representation of marks that are already set.
What do you think, should an option to show these marks in the signcolumn be part of core? Or is a plugin/additional functions be the way to go?
