I’m relatively new to Lisps, and over the last few weeks have been remaking my Neovim config using Fennel+Aniseed (GitHub - Olical/aniseed: Neovim configuration and plugins in Fennel (Lisp compiled to Lua)) and Conjure (GitHub - Olical/conjure: Interactive evaluation for Neovim (Clojure, Fennel, Janet, Racket, Hy, MIT Scheme, Guile)), using Olical’s magic-kit (GitHub - Olical/magic-kit: A starter kit for Conjure, Aniseed and Neovim) as a base. I was never totally confident with editing my config before, and I would kind of just copy things in GitHub README’s 90% of the time, but now I genuinely enjoy working with and preening my config, and it feels like everything really does Just Work. Conjure is great in and of itself, and has also made the experience worlds nicer.
