Cannot open or find files with long file names (255 chars) on Windows with Bitlocker enabled

Hello,

I’m having weird problem, sorry if this is not the right place to ask.

I can’t open or find files with a path bigger than 255 characters, this only happens on my windows work machine that that uses bitlocker.

I tried to open from the terminal and a blank file is shown

I also have long paths enabled on registry and group policy, but it seems to have no effect i assume what is causing the problem is bitlocker.

Other editors like vscode seem to work fine, although it shortens the path with ~:

Any of you know a possible solution for this. Disabling bitlocker is out of question.
