Failing to install via Homebrew

Homebrew is failing to install Neovim on my OSX Catalina 10.15.7.

openjdk: A full installation of Xcode.app is required to compile
this software. Installing just the Command Line Tools is not sufficient.
Xcode can be installed from the App Store.
Error: neovim: An unsatisfied requirement failed this build.

I’m not willing to install a 10gb editor that I won’t use in my computer in order to install a lightweight one I will actually use.

I don’t get it: openjdk isn’t even a dependency. Any help would be highly appreciated.
